Celebrating TuB’Shevat

 In Pre School

Butterflies and Pre-school have been very busy today celebrating the Jewish festival TuB’Shevat.  In Israel the children look outside for new life – the start of their Springtime.  Our children have been outside looking at our trees and have seen new life sprouting already.  Bark rubbings were done and then they planted their own little Norway Spruce tree to take home and care for and watch it grow. The Pre-school looked where Israel was on YouTube on the  Hero board and watched Spruce trees being planted.

John made a traditional Jewish meal and at tea-time the children enjoyed bagels.
