Tu B’Shevat

 In Pre School

On Monday the Pre-school children celebrated Tu B’Shevat – the Jewish festival that marks a new year for trees.  They looked at our own nursery trees and did bark rubbings then they created their own bubble wrap paintings to go on a large tree to represent the leaves.  John cooked a delicious Jewish meal of Chicken stew and rice which the children loved, they also looked at different types of trees on the Hero Board.
