Winnie The Pooh Day

Winnie the Pooh books are always a favourite with the babies so to celebrate the author of the books – Mr A. A. Milne,  the babies had a Winnie the Pooh tea party.  They read some of his lovely stories and especially liked the one of Winnie’s book of colours which is what they have been learning about all week! The children and ladies dressed up in in yellow and red and brought their teddies  for the picnic. In the afternoon they had a great time playing in the krispies and getting very messy.  John our cook even made us some teddy shaped sandwiches and teddy shaped crisps.

Books are something we treasure at Chrysalis and right from the baby room up to Pre-school they have access to books at all times!  A very special day!
